15-Year-Old Murder Suspect Who Escaped Now Back in Custody

UPDATE 10:13pm: Ike Souzer, the 15-year-old murder suspect who escaped from juvenile hall in Orange overnight is back in custody, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

Authorities are searching for a 15-year-old murder suspect after he escaped from Orange County Juvenile Hall early Friday morning.

Ike Souzer, who was remanded into custody in 2017, escaped just before midnight located at 331 The City Drive South in Orange, Sheriff's officials said. Souzer allegedly stabbed his mother to death in Garden Grove.

Souzer is described as white, about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and red pants, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported. He may have also suffered a laceration on his left leg.

Orange County Juvenile Hall contains 434-beds for boys and girls who range in age between 12 and 18. The facility houses juveniles that are being detained before their juvenile court hearings.

Authorities say if you spot Souzer to call 911 and not approach him yourself.
