Police Rescue Woman From Roomba

As a wise man once told me, always beware the Roomba.

A woman from Portland, Oregon learned that she called the cops after hearing pounding noises coming from her locked bathroom. The cops then showed up at the bathroom scene with their guns upholstered and yelled at the intruder to unlock the the door.

After continued banging and no response from the intruder, the Portland Police finally decided to burst into the bathroom. With there guns drawn and ready to fire, they saw the suspect... a Roomba robot vacuum that was stuck in the corner of the bathroom and continually slamming into the shower door.

In an interview with The Washington Post, Sargent Danny DiPietro said that once they discovered the Roomba, "There was just immediate laughter." He also said that the all the cops on the scene were just very shocked, "They didn’t know what was going to happen. They’re ready for anything and then it was like, ‘Whoa, what? What’s going on here? Am I being pranked?"

With all that said, this will definitely be a story that the officers at this sheriffs office will not forget for a long time.
