Sports Anchor Becomes Tinkerbell After Losing March Madness Bet

It really is never too early to teach a kid how to properly pay up on a bet, and one CNN sports anchor found that out when he found himself ordering a Disney Tinkerbell costume online.

Coy Wire is a sports anchor for CNN and HLN, he also played in the NFL for both the Buffalo Bills and the Atlanta Falcons. So it's safe to say he's a big, tough, guy.

Recently, he made a March Madness bet with Elizah, the 4-year-old daughter of a friend.

The stakes were high! If Coy won, her mom's boyfriend, who hosts a radio show, would have to post a photo of Coy every week for a month, dubbing it 'Man Crush Monday.' (Actually, wouldn't have minded that, Coy is a cutie!)

If Elizah won, Coy would have to dress up as her favorite Disney character.

Coy chose teams for his bracket based on his extensive knowledge of sports, Elizah chose teams for her bracket based on the colors of the uniforms and the mascots she liked best.

Well, nothing trumps sports knowledge better than colors and mascots! Elizah won the best fair and square!

Coy went all out to pay up on his bet, complete with Tinkerbell costume, blond wig, wings and a wand. For his photos, he also had his 11 month old daughter, Wrenn, dress up as Peter Pan. It's utterly adorable!

The two plan to repeat the bet next year.

The moral of the story? Ask your kids to fill out your March Madness bracket!
