"The Simpsons" Pulls Michael Jackson Guest Star Episode From Circulation

After the release of the documentary "Leaving Neverland", "The Simpsons" creators have decided that a well-known episode that included Michael Jackson would be taken out of circulation.

Executive producer for the hit cartoon, James L. Brooks said of the decision:

"It feels clearly the only choice to make...The guys I work with — where we spend our lives arguing over jokes — were of one mind on this."

The episode was the third season's premiere and it was titled "Stark Raving Dad".

Michael Jackson voiced the character Leon Kompowsky in the episode, who is in a psychiatric institute with Homer and eventually helps him writes a song for his daughter's birthday.
