George HW Bush's Service Dog Gets a New Assignment

Finally a cute dog story that warmed even Handel's cold dead heart!

Sully, the service dog of late President George H.W. Bush is getting a new assignment.

The 2-year-old yellow Lab will spend his days at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, helping "provide support, comfort and cheer to wounded veterans."

Sully was given a new vest and the rank of a Navy hospital corpsman second class in a speical ceremony streamed on Facebook.

The K-9 was administered the oath of office, asking that he serve his duty "without any promise of treats or tummy rubs."
