California lawmakers want to change blood alcohol level

California lawmakers introduced legislation, also known as Liam's Law, are considering a change to the blood alcohol level for drivers from .08% to .05%.

This can be a big issue for women, especially if they don't weigh as much.

The bill is named in honor of a 15 month old who was killed in a traffic accident in 2016.

100 countries have laws with the lower alcohol levels.
