Authorities Searching Corona Landfill For Body of 6-Month-Old Boy

CORONA (CNS) - Culver City police today announced that detectives are searching a landfill in Corona for the remains of a six-month-old boy believed to have been killed by his parents.

``Detectives continue to investigate the disappearance of Jacsun Manson,'' a police statement said.

``Detectives have developed reason to believe that Adam Manson and Kianna Williams are responsible for the disappearance and death of their six- month-old son Jacsun,'' the statement said. ``We also believe that after his death, Adam and Kianna discarded Jacson*s body in a dumpster somewhere near the Crenshaw Mall in Los Angeles.''

Culver City police personnel and volunteers are searching the El Sobrante Landfill in Corona, police said.

``(This is) where we believe Jacson's body may have ended up,'' the statement said.

Arrest warrants for murder have been issued for both Adam Manson and Kianna Williams, who remain in the custody of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the statement said.

The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services reported Jacsun Manson missing on Jan. 25, according to Culver City police.

According to witnesses, the infant was last seen on Dec. 31 with his parents, who were arrested on Jan. 3 after being found in what authorities said was a stolen vehicle. The boy was not with them when they were arrested, authorities said.
