Duke's budding and unpaid super-star Zion Williamson's Nike sneaker exploded causing him to injure his knee during the first minute of Duke's match-up with rival North Carolina.

Zion's foot rips right through the sole of the shoe causing him to fall on his wallet. The entire sole from toe to heel came loose. Zion had to leave the game with a knee injury.

Nike’s official statement on Zion’s shoe malfunction:
“We are obviously concerned and want to wish Zion a speedy recovery. The quality and performance of our products are of utmost importance. While this is an isolated occurrence, we are working to identify the issue.”
