LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the 10th consecutive day, increasing one-tenth of a cent to $3.332.
The average price has risen 7.4 cents over the past 10 days, including three-tenths of a cent Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The increases follow an eight-day streak of decreases totaling 5 cents that dropped the average price to its lowest amount since Jan. 20, 2018.
The average price is 4.3 cents more than one week ago, 1.3 cents more than one month ago, but 11.8 cents lower than one year ago.
The Orange County average price dropped two-tenths of a cent to $3.298. It had risen eight of the previous nine days, increasing 7.3 cents, including one-tenth of a cent Saturday.
The Orange County average price is 1.9 cents more than one week ago, 1.8 cents higher than one month ago, but 11.9 cents lower than one year ago.
