L.A. County Average Gas Price Rises For Seventh Consecutive Day

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the seventh consecutive day, increasing 1.1 cents to $3.324.

The average price has risen 6.6 cents over the past seven days, including 1.2 cents on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The increases follow an eight-day streak of decreases totaling 5 cents that dropped the average price to its lowest amount since Jan. 20, 2018.

The average price is 2.4 cents less than one month ago and 13.4 cents lower than one year ago.

The Orange County average price rose three-tenths of a cent to $3.298. It has risen six of the past seven days, increasing 7.1 cents, including 1.3 cents on Wednesday. The increases follow an eight-day streak of decreases totaling 5 cents that dropped the Orange County average price to its lowest amount since Jan. 20, 2018.

The Orange County average price is nine-tenths of a cent less than one month ago and 13 cents lower than one year ago.
