Facebook in Hot Water Over Robbing Kids For Money

*Sigh*, I wish I could blog on another social media network, but once again, Facebook is in the news. Turns out Facebook may have been scamming kids out of money via phone apps.

Court documents released this week allegedly show that while Facebook allowed children to ring up a bill, the company rejected recommendations on addressing what it dubbed "friendly fraud," according to ABCNews .

Internal memos from the social company as well as other records were unsealed late Thursday. Games like Angry Birds, allowed the company to charge children for extra game perks without their parents consent. The company allegedly chose to disregard recommendations to prevent revenue loss.

Facebook has now offered refunds to users.
