Seven People in Florida Arrested After Using Young Boy as Sex Slave

(St. Petersburg Police Department)

Seven disturbing individuals were arrested in Florida after police uncovered a human trafficking case in which a 15-year-old boy was "introduced to sadomasochism" and "used as a sex slave."

Cops in St. Petersburg located the victim's location in May during an investigation of the disappearance of the teen.

When the boy first went missing, his mother found a note saying he was gone and to not try and find him.

According to Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody, suspects Mark Dennis, Andrew Dennis and Curtis Gruwell were found at the scene with the victim. Mark Dennis claimed to be the child's biological father but could not provide any proof.

"The teenage victim in this case was lured away from his family with promises of a better life," Moody said. "Instead, he was moved into a filthy trailer and used as a slave for nearly a year."

Mark Dennis, Andrew Dennis, Michael Schwartz, Michael Blasdel, JR Gauthier and Eleanor McGlamory were charged with conspiracy to commit human trafficking and interference with custody. Mark Dennis, Andrew Dennis, Blasdel and Gauthier were also charged with sexual battery. All were arrested Monday.

Curtis Gruwell turned himself in Tuesday and is also facing human trafficking charges.

The young victim is reportedly receiving special care at a Florida safe house.
