An art exhibit in Israel that features a crucified Ronald McDonald has really peeved off the country's Christian minority.
Hundreds of people are calling for the sculpture (aptly titled "McJesus") to be removed at the museum in Haifa to no avail.
Museum director Nissim Tal says he's shocked at the uproar, in part because the statue had been on display for months and was also shown in other countries without complaint.
Tal says the museum has offered to remove the artwork saying that doing so would violate the freedom of expression:
"If we take the art down, the next day we'll have politicians demanding we take other things down and we'll end up only with colorful pictures of flowers in the museum."
