Sexual Harassment Will Cost You If You're A Congress Member

Sucks for all the politicians who dirty deed it up in Congress!

Thanks to a new agreement members of Congress who settle sexual harassment lawsuits will now be named and have to pay up out of their own pockets.

Before, settlements were paid by the taxpayers, but now the money will come out of that member's own pocket within 90 days or they risk facing a salary garnishment.

Negotiations took months, as lawmakers in the House and Senate disagreed over each other's version of the bill.

Members of the House praised the deal in a joint statement, saying, "We believe this is a strong step towards creating a new standard in Congress that will set a positive example in our nation."
