Trump Planned to give Putin a $50 Million Penthouse

President Trump's relationship with Vladimir Putin is SERIOUSLY complicated!

On the heels of Trump's cancellation of his G20 Summit meeting with the Russian president comes a report that says the Commander-In-Chief once planned to give Putin a $50 million penthouse.

In an interview posted Thursday on Buzzfeed, Felix Sater -- a business associate of Trump attorney Michael Cohen -- revealed Trump's team contemplated giving Putin the generous gift while negotiating the construction of Trump Tower Moscow in 2016.

By doing so, Sater thought they'd more easily attract more high-paying tenants.

"My idea was to give a $50 million penthouse to Putin and charge $250 million more for the rest of the units. All the oligarchs would line up to live in the same building as Putin."

However, the idea was scrapped when negotiations to build the 100-story tower fell through.
