Imagine winning the lottery, but not being able to find the ticket?

That's just torture. You finally did what you've always dreamed of, but you can't find the ticket to actually get your prize.

A couple in Louisiana had the same problem.

However..... they found their ticket just TWO WEEKS before it was expired.

What are the odds of that?!

Louisiana couple, Harold and Tina Ehrenberg, of Mandeville, La. were cleaning up their house before hosting Thanksgiving and found their missing ticket.

The best part of this story, they weren't even sure they won. They had found a few tickets and decided to look them up to see if they had won any money.

And thank goodness they did....

Because one of their tickets matched all the numbers for Louisiana's June 6th drawing worth $1.8 million.

“We have family coming into town for Thanksgiving, so I was cleaning up the house and found a few Lottery tickets on my nightstand that we hadn’t checked,” said Tina Ehrenberg

The couple's winning tickets was found just in time because it's expiration date was nearing in nearly two weeks.

Harold and Tina immediately took their ticket to the Louisiana Lottery to cash it in.

After taxes of the $1.8 million prize, the couple still ended up taking $1,274,313 which they plan on using once they retire.

“We don’t have any plans to buy anything crazy or go on any big trips,” Tina said.
