Police In Search Of Woman Who Beat McDonald's Manager... For Some Ketchup

Santa Ana police are on the hunt for a woman caught on camera violently attacking a McDonald's manager back in October. According to authorities, the two got into an altercation after the suspect asked for some ketchup.

Yeah, you read that right.

On October 27 around 11 p.m., a woman entered the back door of the Santa Ana McDonald's, requesting some ketchup packets. That's when the manager told the woman that she was not allowed in their employee area. Let's just say that's where the two disagreed.

The suspect began attacking the manager, kicking, punching, and even trying to choke her.

"The manager tells her, 'I'll be glad to help you, you just need to go up front,' and for whatever reason she took it upon herself to assault the manager," Santa Ana Police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said.

In the surveillance video, you can see the woman slam the managers head against a drink machine. (Maybe that's why the McDonald's ice cream machines never work?????)

Other employees in the restaurant then rush to break up the fight, but a man in a gray hoodie is then seen escorting the suspect out the same back door they came in.

"There is no reason that any employee at any business should be assaulted by a patron, much less over not getting enough ketchup," Bertagna added.

If you have any information on the suspect seen in the video, you're encouraged to contact investigator L. Delisle with the Santa Ana police at 714-245-8647.
