Reports: Thousand Oaks Shooter Was Male, Armed With Single Gun

New details are being released about the suspected gunman who killed 12-people in a Southern California bar shooting.  

Law enforcement tells NBC News that the suspect was a white adult male armed with a single handgun.  Officials add that he was not carrying any form of identification at the time, and they are taking his fingerprints and running them through databases to identify him.  

The Ventura County Sheriff's Department says the gunman was dead upon arrival and investigators are looking for a motive.
