President Trump Tweets Video Of Illegal Cop Killer, Blames Democrats

A Mexican immigrant, who had been deported twice, murdered police officers in 2014 and was sentenced to death in California. There is a 53-second video that shows Luis Bracamontes during his trial, telling the court that he had no regrets and planned on killing more cops.

President Donald Trump shared the video on Wednesday in an attempt to encourage voters to go Republican.

Trump claimed that Democrats were to blame for allowing Bracamontes into the country. The message follows his recent immigration proposals, increase of troops at the border, and birthright citizenship debates.

"Illegal immigrant, Luis Bracamontes, killed our people!," the video states, adding, "Democrats let him into our country ... Democrats let him stay."

The White House did not immediately respond to questions of who made and paid for the video.

"This is a sickening ad. Republicans everywhere should denounce it," Republican Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona said.

The Trump campaign had previously released a video in January on its YouTube page, featuring Bracamontes speaking in a courtroom appearance. That video was intended to promote his January 2018 immigration agenda.

President Trump also invited the widows of the two police officers killed by Bracamontes to his 2017 address to Congress. During his 2016 campaign, Trump coined the term "angel families," to refer to those who lost loved ones at the hands of illegal immigrants.
