Can You Define What Mental Health Is?

Young adults are away at college - maybe for the first time. They're dealing a lot in this phase of their lives and may not know how to deal with it. The new stresses can feel too much and too big to handle. 

According to National College Health Assessment, forty percent of college students in 2018 have reported feeling "overwhelmingly anxious." Twenty percent said they felt "so depressed it was difficult to function." The most serious statistic, arguably, is thirteen percent of the students admitted they had thought about suicide in the last year.

Look out for moodiness, disorientation, excessive anxiety, depression, isolation, substance abuse, delusions, unexplained physical ailments, changes in sleep, appetite or diet if you think your roommate, friend, child or yourself may need to find support.
