Trump Shows Support For Republican Rep. Accused Of Body Slamming Reporter

At a rally Thursday night in Montana, President Trump showed support for the Republican Rep. who was accused of body slamming a reporter back in 2016.

"Any guy who can do a body slam, he's my candidate, he's my guy," President Trump said about Republican Rep. Greg Gianforte.

In 2017, Gianforte pleaded guilty for assaulting a reporter from the Guardian. When Trump commented on the incident at his Montana rally last night, cheers erupted from the crowd.

President Trump also spent time showing support for the Republican Senate candidate Matt Rosendale, who is challenging Sen. Jon Tester in the coming election. He then continued his attacks towards those voting for Democrats in November, telling the crowd that voting Democrat is voting for a "mob."

"Democrats produce mobs, Republicans produce jobs," Trump said.

President Trump's rally on Thursday was his first of three consecutive days of rallies.
