Papa John's Attempts To Re-Brand With New Ad Campaign

"You expected better from Papa John's," says the video. "So did we."

Popular pizza chain Papa John's is attempting to change the tone of their brand by debuting a new ad campaign this week.

On Tuesday, the pizza company presented their minute-long commercial called "Voices". It features 24 Papa John's employees speaking about their fond experiences working within the company. This is also the first ad that they've released since founder John Schnatter made the headlines as an ousted chairman a few months ago...

The commercial is scheduled to air this Saturday, during the Texas A&M vs. Alabama college football game. It is also expected to show during the season premiere of "This is Us," as well as during other popular shows.

"Clearly, we want to put this in front of as many consumers as possible, as quickly as possible," Melissa Richards, vice president of global brand strategy for Papa John's, told CNBC.
