Little Change to Southland Gas Prices

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent today to $3.669, one day after dropping three-tenths of a cent.

The average price has changed by one-tenth of a cent five of the past six days and is one-tenth of a cent more than one week ago, 5.3 cents higher than one month ago and 48.7 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 51.9 cents since the start of the year because of higher oil prices.

The Orange County average price dropped two-tenths of a cent to $3.611, one day after decreasing one-tenth of a cent. It is one-tenth of a cent more than one week ago, 6.5 cents higher than one month ago and 45.2 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 49.5 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price has dropped four of the past five days, with two of the daily decreases being two-tenths of a cent and one one- tenth of a cent.
