San Francisco building inspectors will not be yellow-tagging a luxury condo highrise over safety issues after all. Officials say management at the Millennium Tower have met a deadline to install barriers to protect pedestrians after a window cracked last week.
Managers have also inspected all of the posh, multi-million-dollar units on 58 floors. Lawyers for the HOA say a new plan is in place to secure and fix the damaged window.
The cracked 36th floor window is The Millennium's latest structural problem. The Mission Street building has sunk about 18 inches since its completion in 2009. It's also leaning two-feet towards Salesforce Tower.
