LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose three-tenths of a cent today to $3.618, one day after dropping one-tenth of a cent to its lowest amount since April 19.
The average price is two-tenths of a cent less than a week ago and 2.3 cents lower than one month ago but 60.5 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 46.7 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price rose four-tenths of a cent today to $3.546, one day after a 12-day streak of decreases totaling 3.8 cents ended when it was unchanged.
The Orange County average price is 1 cent less than one week ago and 3.7 cents lower than one month ago but 55.9 cents higher than one year ago. It has risen 43 cents since the start of the year.
