TMZ is reporting that Shaun Weiss, the man who played Goldberg in "The Mighty Ducks" was arrested in northern California over the weekend for public intoxication.
Law enforcement says the 39-year-old Weiss was arrested around 1 a.m. in Oroville, California, a city located about an hour north of Sacramento. Cops say they cut the former child actor a break after he spent a few hours in the drunk tank.
Weiss was released and not cited for public intoxication police said.
This isn't Weiss's first run-in with the law. Last year, the actor was sentenced to serve 150 days in jail for petty theft after he was caught stealing $150 in merchandise from a Fry's Electronics store. However, he only ended up serving 12 days due to overcrowding. Just five days after he was released, Weiss was picked up by Burbank police for possession of meth.
Aside from starring in the 1990's Disney trilogy about a down-on-their luck hockey team, Weiss also worked on the TV show Freaks and Geeks and had a cameo appearance on The King of Queens.
