Colorado Kids Rewarded For Doing The Right Thing

I'm sure recently you've had an incident with a young person and you've said to yourself, 'What's happened to the youth of today?"

Well, this video will give you faith in humanity that there are still really good kids out there.

13-year-old Haylie, her friend Ashley and Haylie's 6-year brother Reagan were out beating the heat at a local water park in Aurora, Colorado recently.

While they were riding their bikes home, they spotted something lying in a driveway next to a car.

It was a wallet...and it had $700 in it!

There was no one in sight, but they figured that the wallet belonged to the person at the house, so they went up to the front door to ring the bell and they were greeted by a recorded message telling them that they were on camera, and that no one could come to the door, but to leave a message.

The video captures Ashley saying:

"We found your wallet outside of your car and we just thought we would give it back to you. So, I don't know...I'm going to put it over here so no one takes the money."

After seeing the video later, the homeowner was so happy to see the kids did the right thing and returned the wallet, so he posted the video to try to track them down so he could thank them.

The video went viral on social media and Haylie's mother saw the post and contacted the owner, who gave the kids a reward for doing the right thing.

The kids say they don't understand why they've gotten so much attention, but they're happy to be an example for other kids.
