The Carr fire up in Northern California has burned more than 28,000 acres, killed 1 person and destroyed 15 structures so far, but that number is expected to increase.
As the fire moved closer to Redding the local TV station covering what was happening, found themselves in danger.
KRCR-TV anchors were live on the air last night at 10:30pm as the fire approached, when the anchors suddenly told their viewers that the station was going off the air because they were being told to evacuate.
