Florida Officer Helps Homeless Man Shave for Job Interview

In a wonderful show of human kindness, a Florida police officer is seen on video giving a homeless man a hand.

Tallahassee Police Officer Tony Carlson said he noticed a man having some issues with his razor outside of a gas station.

"He asked me if I knew anything about fixing a razor cause it was broken. I looked at it and it was missing a screw. Obviously, I didn't have another screw so I just tighten up the other one to the point it would work."

The homeless man, identified only by the name Phil, said he needed to shave because he had an interview at a local fast food place.

However, he was having another issue as it was too difficult to shave his face without a mirror.

So, Officer Carlson took the razor and began to shave Phil's beard for him.

And as if that wasn't super heartwarming enough, the officer offered this humble response when hearing of the massive online praise he received:

"This isn't ... something spectacular...It happens all the time. It just so happens that this time someone caught it on film."
