Papa John’s Pulls Schnatter From Marketing Materials

In another sign of the irreparable harm caused by his recent comments and usage of the n-word, Papa John's has yanked its founder from its marketing materials.

The pizza chain is removing John Schnatter's image from its marketing after racially charged comments he made became public Wednesday.

Schnatter's image is very closely tied to the company and he is pictured on its pizza boxes.

He resigned as chairman this week after admitting and apologizing for using the N-word during a May conference call.

Schnatter owns 24 percent of the company and remains on its board.
