Happy Fry Day! Here's where you can get free French Fries and deals

Happy #FryDay!

It may be Friday the 13th, but it's going to be a lucky one for people who love eating French fries.

In honor of National French Fry Day, several fast-food restaurants around Southern California will be helping people carboload with mountains of fries to celebrate with, with some even giving them away for free on Fry Day! Offers and participation can vary by location, so make sure you contact the closest location to make sure they're participating in the deal.

Applebees is giving people a side of bottomless fries when they order the all-you-can-eat riblets and chicken tenders for $12.99. BurgerFi is offering customers free fries with any purchase (just mention the offer when you order).

Carl's Jr. is also getting in on the fun, offering people a free small fry and beverage with any $6 burger (they'll also want your email address). And of course, it wouldn't be #FryDay without McDonalds. They're giving away a free medium fry with any $1 purchase when you use the chain's app. Burger King is also giving people two small orders of fries and two Original Chicken Sandwiches for $4.99 with a coupon in the restaurant's app.

IHOP (yes, we're back to IHOP after the brief name change) is offering customers unlimited fries if you order one of their new Ultimate Steakburgers.

Del Taco is offering folks $1 off Loaded Fries through July 20 at participating locations nationwide. You'll need a coupon available at www.deltaco.com/fryyay

And Islands' new French Onion Burger will be served with endless fries (and will be available through Sept 2). If you're feeling particularly artistic while you're there, you can also enter their Instagram contest for a chance to win free burgers and fries for a year!

If you're into fries that aren't made from spuds, you can always check-in with Dunkin' Donuts. They're offering the first 100 customers a free order of its sugar-coated Donut Fries between 10a.m. and 2 p.m. all day. Or you could head on over to Taco Bell where they've brought back their Nacho Fries for a limited time. The fries are seasoned with Mexican seasoning that comes with a side of nacho cheese dipping sauce.

However you plan on celebrating #FryDay today, it should be a delicious one!
