Pasadena City Employee Road Rages A Driving Lecture

LA.  Love it or hate it, it's part of us.

It's a pretty nice place.  And we sacrifice a lot in living here:  cool weather, temperate attitudes, decent drive times, and, you know, other "minor" conveniences.

But there does seem to be something about the heat out here that really just seems to set people off.

Case in point?  Take a look at what happened today at Target department store in Pasadena.

A Pasadena Building and Safety Division city worker was driving in the parking structure, apparently minding his own business, when all of a sudden a woman cut him off.

(Keep in mind that this is the parking lot at target, so we're not exactly talking Nascar speeds going on.)

Unfortunately, that was enough to trigger the city employee, who then proceeded to block the woman's car from leaving, and then further proceeded to lecture her on just why and how she had made a big boo-boo.

But wouldn't you know it?  It's 2018, and a nearby bystander filmed the argument as it started to escalate. In the video, you can see and hear the worker berating her, arguably pretty excessively.

"I didn't know you had to be so rude and so mean" the woman is heard telling the worker.  The bystander then says to the man that he "can't block her."  The man's reply?

"I can do whatever I want."

Oy.

So, who's at fault here?
