Robert Jensen, 39, has been identified as the man who allegedly burglarized a home Wednesday morning in Placentia while the female resident was sleeping. Jensen stole a wallet and a jacket and then proceeded to leave behind some of his clothes.
After fleeing, Jensen was found near the seventh hole at the golf course at the Alta Vista Country Club and was detained.
Investigators learned that Jensen allegedly broke into the residence by shaking a sliding door until it opened and entered while the homeowner was sleeping inside her downstairs bedroom.
She woke up after hearing the shower running and promptly called police, she was not injured during the burglary.
Jensen is being held at the Orange County jail on suspicion of residential burglary and possession of stolen property.
