Deaf Child Found at Downtown Train Station Reunited with Family

A young deaf boy who was discovered at Union Station on Wednesday has been reunited with his family Captain Mark Reina of the Los Angeles Police Department said. 

The boy was turned over to the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services last night, after authorities discovered the the unattended child around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening at Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. 

The child is deaf, but was unable to communicate with a sign language interpreter, and may be autistic, police say.
