Video: Woman Pulled into Water While Feeding Sharks in Australia

Here's a prime example of don't screw with things that have more teeth than you have sense.

Melissa Brunning was on a yacht feeding fish to a group of nurse sharks, when one decided a small fish wasn't enough...

The shark bit Brunning's finger and dragged her overboard!

“It happened so quickly. All I could really focus on was the fact that my finger is gone. He’d clamped on it and it felt like it was shredding off the bone.”

While it may have felt worse than it was, her bone was only fractured and the finger survived.

“I came up and I said I’ve lost my finger and I couldn’t even look at my finger because I thought it was gone, and I thought if I looked at it I’d probably go into shock.”

Upon later reflection, Brunning realized feeding the sharks may not have been the best idea and is warning others to not follow her lead.
