So we all know sports fans are pretty......uh......spirited?
So much so that they look to unusual places for looks into sports outcomes...
Take Rabiot the giant Pacific octopus from Hokkaido, Japan.
Rabiot was thrust into international celebrity when he was placed in a pool with three baskets of food, one representing a loss, another representing a win, and the final representing a draw.
He was then able to correctly predict Japan's World Cup outcomes....defeating Colombia, having a draw with Senegal and losing to Poland.
Probably want to keep that octopus around for future sports right?
WELL YOU ARE WRONG, BECAUSE GUESS WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED.
THEY. KILLED. HIM.
The fisherman who caught Rabiot decided to go the business before sports magic route, killed him and put him up on the market for food sale.
BUT THE STORY DOESN'T END THERE Y'ALL.
Rabiot got his post-murder vengeance....on Monday Japan lost in the cup to Belgium 2-3.
