Some of the best news out of the weekend!
Toffee, the 7-week-old puppy had fallen into a 50-foot deep hole in the backyard of her foster family's home...
Normally not too much of a problem...but the poor pup is deaf and partially blind so she had trouble finding her way out!
After a 31 hour venture, rescuers tried a variety of tools to get the puppy out safely; copper pipes and fishing nets to which they zip-tied treats.
However, the puppy couldn't get into the collapsed net and an open net couldn't fit into the hole.
They eventually were able to lead Toffee out with sardines and she was reunited with her loved ones!
