San Diego County Gas Prices Drop for 21st Consecutive Day

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped today for the 21st consecutive day, decreasing four-tenths of a cent to $3.672, its lowest amount since May 8. 

The average price has dropped 8 cents over the past 21 days, including 1 cent on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The 21-day streak of decreases is the longest since a 29-day run from June 3-July 1, 2017. 

The average price is 4 cents less than a week ago and 8.5 cents lower than one month ago, but 76.9 cents more than one year ago. It has risen 55 cents since the start of the year. 

San Diego County's average gas price is 1 cent higher than the state average and 82.8 cents higher than the national average.
