Barbecue

Literally anywhere...

What's a 4th of July celebration without a little barbecue? The best part is that you can have fun and throw a burger (or seven) on the grill 20 miles from home or right in your backyard. If you're looking for a little more adventure and want to spice things up, here are some locations around LA to turn up the heat!

Dockweiler State Beach: Be sure to get here early if you plan on claiming your own fire pit. If it happens to be too late, you can always lay in the sun and simply enjoy the holiday on the beach.

Echo Park: This location is a bit more relaxed. While the park is inland, there's the option to go boating on the lake, getting some of the mist from the fountains to cool off.

Elysian Park: Heading to that Dodger game in the evening? This is the perfect park to fire up some hot dogs, hamburgers, veggies, or any other food you might like.

Disneyland

When in doubt, Disneyland is always a great option. The festivities are endless at the amusement park in Anaheim. You can spend your day with a park hopper pass to check out PixarFest, Hyperspace Mountain, or any other ride you wish. Celebrate the holiday with your favorite characters throughout the park!
