AGUA DULCE (CNS) - The ``Stone Fire'' in Agua Dulce was only 30 percent contained today after scorching 1,352 acres but authorities have lifted most street closures and evacuations.
The blaze was reported around 12:30 p.m. Monday near the 35100 block of Anthony Road, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
A firefighter suffered a minor injury and was taken to a hospital, officials said. No other injuries were reported and no structures were damaged.
There was no word on what sparked the flames. Soon after the fire broke out, the temperature was close to 100 degrees with relative humidity of only 11 percent but the National Weather Service said temperatures were cooling as evening approached.
Most street closures and evacuations were lifted around 8 p.m. Monday, with the exception of Anthony Road.
Only residents with proper identification will be allowed access to Anthony Road, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department.
About 350 personnel were on scene at one point, and several helicopters and a fixed-wing aircraft, including four air tankers, were deployed. The flames were burning in medium brush in the rural sparsely populated area.
