Caltrans Workers Say They're Tired Of Cleaning Up After Homeless

Caltrans workers are tired of cleaning up after the homeless.  The employees have filed a grievance with the state saying picking up used hypodermic needles and human waste is not their job.  The union that represents the workers say they have received complaints from all over California.

They are asking for proper hazmat suits, vaccinations and a ten-percent pay increase for the hazmat crews.  Some employees claim the homeless throw rocks at them and even sick their dogs on them while they are cleaning the streets.
