Southland Gas Prices Rise to Highest Amount Since August 2015

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose seven-tenths of a cent today to $3.646, its highest amount since Aug. 26, 2015.

The average price has increased 14 of the past 15 days, rising 6.8 cents, including six-tenths of a cent on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 4 cents more than one week ago, 10.3 cents higher than one month ago and 60.5 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 49.6 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price rose six-tenths of a cent today to $3.607, its highest amount since Aug. 25, 2015.

The Orange County average price has increased 14 of the past 15 days, rising 6.9 cents, including a half-cent on Tuesday.

The Orange County average price is 3.7 cents more than one week ago, 10.4 cents higher than one month ago and 58 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 49.1 cents since the start of the year.
