Teenager Found In Riverbed Allegedly Killed By Ex

New details are being released about the death of a 17-year-old boy who was found along the San Gabriel riverbed.  Investigators confirm that Jeremy Sanchez was stabbed to death, allegedly by his 16-year-old ex-boyfriend.  John Corina with the L.A. County Sheriff's Department says they are looking for the murder weapon, but a conversation with the ex was very telling.

Friends say the two had been in a romantic relationship but recently broke up, which enraged the suspect.  Officials add that the suspect pretended to find the body earlier this week to try to fool investigators and to cover up the crime.

Sanchez was reported missing on Wednesday after he never showed up to South El Monte High School, and his body was located in bushes later that afternoon.
