Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg just laid to rest one of our greatest fears about the social network; they're not secretly listening to your conversations.
During the Capitol Hill questioning, Michigan democrat Senator Gary Peters asked Zuckerberg point blank if the conspiracy theory is true and he replied no.
"Let me be clear on this. You are talking about the conspiracy theory passed around that we listen to what is going on on your microphone and use that. We do not do that".
Many believe that what you say out loud near your smartphone will later appear as an advertisement on Facebook...and we're not as convinced it still isn't true.
