A man who was allegedly armed with a knife and had set his jacket on fire before barricading himself inside a Denny's restaurant bathroom has been arrested.
The six-hour standoff began after officers responded to reports of a man with a knife around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, who had set his jacket on fire, and then scrambled up a tree.
When police arrived, the man jumped down from the tree, and fled into the restaurant, taking refuge inside one of the bathrooms. A SWAT team was dispatched to deal with the situation.
The man eventually surrendered around 10:25 a.m. police said. No one was injured during the confrontation.
