President Trump Blasts FBI Raid On Lawyer's Office

Hours after FBI agents raided the office of President Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen, the president ripped into the agency and Robert Mueller's special counsel investigation. Speaking to reporters at the White House following a meeting with his military advisors, he called the raid of Cohen's office a "disgrace" and blasted Mueller for making the referral that caused the raid in New York.

“I have this witch hunt constantly going on," Trump said. "It’s an attack on our country ... what we all stand for.”

Trump said that Mueller's team is "the most conflicted group of people I have ever seen." He said the investigation is "getting ridiculous" and pointed out that Mueller has not found anything in the yearlong investigation.

"Again, they found nothing. And in finding nothing, that's a big statement."

He also attacked the FBI for going after him while they did not investigate the "obvious" crimes committed by the "other side."

“We’ve had that hanging over us from the very, very beginning,” the president said. “And yet the other side they're not even looking. And the other side is where there are crimes and those crimes are obvious.”
