The woman accused of shooting three people at the YouTube headquarters has ties to the Inland Empire. Nasim Aghdam's family lives in Menifee, and she used to live there before moving to San Diego. Her father tells "Bay Area News Group" that he suspected she was heading to the San Bruno campus, because she "hated" the company and was angry they stopped paying for her content.
He adds that they reported Aghdam missing earlier this week, but she was found sleeping in her car in Mountain View, just hours before yesterday's shooting.
Police say Aghdam opened fire in a lunch area before turning the gun on herself. Three people are injured, with one in critical condition and the others with less serious injuries. A motive is still being investigated.
