Wildcats Win Means No Classes Today At Villanova

Classes are cancelled today on the campus of Villanova University after the Wildcats clinched their second NCAA men's basketball title in three seasons and the school's 3rd overall.  Nova defeated Michigan 79-62 last night in San Antonio.  The day off will give Nova nation a chance to rest up to welcome the Wildcats home after their victory.  The team is expected to arrive back on campus sometime late this afternoon and plans are currently in the works to hold a victory parade for the team.

Two years ago there was a parade in downtown Philadelphia with a rally at City Hall for the team after Nova clinched the NCAA title.
