Police say they have recovered a child who was left inside a carjacked Infiniti reported stolen earlier this morning.
Officers responded to a call around 10 a.m. this morning to a report of a carjacked vehicle that had an 11-month-old baby boy inside. The child was found safely by police just after 12 p.m. local time.
Police say a Hispanic woman using a weapon of some kind, took the car earlier this morning near Gault Street and Sepulveda Boulevard just east of the 405 Freeway. Police say the Infiniti was unattended and running when it was stolen.
It's unclear what happened to the carjacker.
