In a shocking discovery, authorities have raided a Nashville PetSmart and what they found is very disturbing.
Metro Animal Care and Control received videos and photos showing sick and injured animals not being cared for properly by PetSmart and a search warrant was executed at the store.
Health department spokesman Brian Todd says;
"We confiscated any injured or sick animals and have requested veterinary records as well as their policies on animal care. Based on that we will work with Metro police and the DA's office to determine whether charges will be filed."
PETA says managers at the Nashville store were seen "repeatedly refusing to provide sick, injured, and dying animals with veterinary care in order to keep costs down so that they would receive bonuses."
No word yet on whether charges will be filed.
